About EV Pilot
Built by Tricknowtech
EV Pilot exists because planning an EV road trip in India means stitching together half a dozen unreliable sources — a charging app that doesn't know if the charger is actually working, a maps app that doesn't know your car's real range, and a toll app that has no idea your vehicle is exempt.
We built EV Pilot around three things that seemed obviously necessary and consistently missing: a range model based on your actual vehicle and the actual road (not a flat efficiency number), charger data that's honest about what's real vs. what's guessed, and toll/FASTag information that accounts for how EVs are actually treated at Indian plazas.
What we won't do
- Bulk-store or resell data from Google Places, OpenStreetMap, or any other licensed source beyond what their terms allow.
- Turn on location or trip tracking without your explicit, tiered, revocable consent.
- Write to your vehicle over OBD — the connection is read-only, permanently, at the transport layer.
EV Pilot is a young product, actively being built. If something's wrong or missing, tell us — most of what's in the app today started as exactly that kind of report.
