how-it-works

Three taps to a plan you can trust

No manual math, no guessing your range on a highway you've never driven.

Pick start & destination

Or reload a saved favorite route in one tap. Set your battery %, manually or live from OBD/Android Auto.

Get a real plan

Charge stops sized to your vehicle's actual charge curve, the route's elevation, and live weather — with a Plan B at every stop.

Drive it, honestly tracked

A live drift banner tells you the truth about your progress. Tolls, FASTag, and savings vs. petrol, all along the way.

everything-for-the-trip

Not just a map

Charge planning, real charger data, home charging, and toll routing in one app.

Real range model

Charge stops placed where you actually need them, built from your vehicle's real charge curve, the route's elevation, and live weather — not a flat km/kWh guess.

Real charger data

Community- and operator-sourced listings — network, connectors, live status where available, amenities, and driver ratings.

Home chargingNew

Set a home location and EV Pilot auto-detects overnight charging. Bill-based tariff calculator turns kWh into a real ₹/km cost.

Auto-detect public chargingNew

Parked near a charger and your battery's climbing? EV Pilot notices — enter the price once, it works out the rest.

Tolls & FASTag

See toll costs along your route, FASTag Annual Pass eligibility, and EV toll exemptions — so the plaza isn't a surprise.

Elevation-awareNew

See each stop's elevation and a full climb/descent profile for the route — ghats and hill routes stop being a guessing game.

Saved routesNew

Plan a commute or a regular trip once, save it, and reload it instantly next time instead of re-searching every field.

Your vehicle, your data

Connect an OBD adapter for live state of charge, or enter your battery manually — EV Pilot never forces a connection.

A plan B for every stop

If a charger goes down mid-trip, EV Pilot has already picked the backup and knows you can reach it.

india-first

Made for how EVs actually get driven in India

Not adapted from a US or European app.

Indian charging networks

Statiq, Tata Power EZ Charge, ChargeZone, Jio-bp Pulse, Ather Grid, and more — mapped and kept current, with a preferred-network dial for your plans.

Android Auto

Nearby chargers, live battery/range, and navigation handoff on your car's display, using your car's real position.

Works with weak data

Offline trip packs and a build tuned for patchy Indian charger listings and connectivity on the road.

common-questions

Quick answers

The full list is on the FAQ page — a few of the most asked below.

Is EV Pilot free?

Yes. EV Pilot is free to download and use, with no subscription required for trip planning, charger data, or toll/FASTag info.

Which EV models does EV Pilot support?

62+ EV models across 20 brands with real battery capacity, DC charge curves, and connector data — Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai, Kia, BYD, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and more, from budget hatchbacks to luxury SUVs. See the full supported vehicle list.

Does EV Pilot work without an OBD adapter?

Yes. Entering your battery percentage manually works fully — an OBD-II Bluetooth adapter is optional, for live state-of-charge instead of manual entry, and is always read-only.

Which charging networks are covered?

300+ networks and 23,000+ real charging stations across India — Tata Power, Statiq, ChargeZone, Jio-bp Pulse, BPCL, HPCL, IOCL, Zeon, and many regional operators. See the charging networks page.
